Hello and welcome :)
My name is Katie and I’m a multimedia artist based in Duluth, MN.
I graduated from the Minneapolis College of Art and Design with my BFA in Illustration. I actively participate in gallery exhibitions, booth at art fairs, and accept commissions.
In audition to my personal art practice, I have a background in arts education, having taught visual and media arts at the Minneapolis Institute of Art and schools across both Minneapolis and Duluth MN.
My work explores themes of femininity and autonomy, often with floral and figurative subjects. It’s very important to me in understanding my identity as a woman and an artist. My art is a reflection of how I celebrate myself and others in my community. Through my practice I strive to empower people, honor individual growth, and create space for expression.
